Using Templates

You can create templates to extract data form the structured, semi structured, and unstructured documents using Computer Vision.

To view the available templates for extracting data from the document images, navigate to Smart Bot > Computer Vision. 

The Computer Vision module is displayed with a default Templates tab with the following details:

• Name: Specifies the name of the template.
• Description: Specifies the description of the template.
• Type: Specifies the type of the template. The available types are Structured, Semi-Structured, and Domain-Specific.
• Created By: Specifies the name of the user who created the template.
• Created Date: Specifies the date and time of the template when it was created.
• Actions: Use the Action column for performing the following operations:

Remove Adapter: Used to remove the uploaded adapter file. This action is available when the adapter file is uploaded. 

Upload Adapter: Used to upload an adapter file.

Download Adapter: Used to download an uploaded adapter file.

Delete Template: Used to delete an entire template. 

Edit Template: Used to edit the template configurations.

Clone Template: Used to clone an entire template.

         Template Extraction: Used to run inference on a document using the created template.

Template Types

The following template types are used while adding a new template:

• Custom: Custom Templates are created for extracting required field values from the structured and semi-structured documents. 
• Domain Specific: Templates are created with a pre-defined model using PAN card, Aadhaar card, Cheque, Driving License, and Passport with pre-defined Form Fields.
