Extracting Data from Templates
You can extract the targeted data from the document using templates.
To extract the data from the templates:
- From the list of templates, click the Template Extraction icon
in the Actions column. The new pane is displayed with the title of the selected template name.
- Drag and drop a file, or click to select the document file.
- Click Upload.
The success message is displayed.

The Forms tab is displayed by default with the extracted field values from the uploaded document or image. The other tabs are namely Tables, Raw Text, and IOCR.
- Form Tab displays data extracted from the form fields.
- Table tab displays data extracted from the table fields.
- The Raw Text tab helps to copy the required tag.
- The IOCR tab helps to paste the required tag for any rule based field.
This maker checker screen also shows the Advance configuration section which shows two tabs namely Configuration and Developer Option.

- Configuration tab helps to select required Clean up rules and/or Formatting rules for selected fields.
- Developer Option tab helps to select Table Extraction Version and/or Merge the Table Subrow.
- Click the Tables tab to view the Table Field values.
- Click the Raw Text tab to view all the tags and copy the required tag.
- Click the IOCR tab to paste the required tag for the field.
- Hover the textbox to see the extracted value for the field. In this example, the extracted value for the field "GSTIN" is seen while hovering the textbox.

- To edit the extracted field value manually, click anywhere on the textbox, or on the extracted field value on the image. Edit the field value, and click the Accept or Reject icon.

- Optionally, to view and manage the Confidence Score of the extracted field values, click the icon on the top right as indicated in the image.

- The overall Confidence Score for the extracted field values is displayed with the slider. You can increase/decrease the score with the slider.

- If the Detect Error checkbox is being checked, then the field which is not being detected at the time of extraction will get highlighted.
- Click the Confidence Score checkbox to view the confidence score of the individual extracted fields.
If the individual Confidence Score is less than the overall Confidence Score, then the field value is marked in Red.
- You can download the logs with the download log icon
from the top right section.
- You can download the excel with the download excel icon
from the top right section.
